Sin City Trailer Narrative Structure Analysis

Sin City is based on 3 graphic novels by Frank Miller. The narrative structure of Sin City is linear this is the best structure to use for this type of film as it can get confusing as it tells three stories within in the film, the three stories intertwine with each other.

The narrative viewpoint is restricted narrative as we only know as much as the characters do, its used so we don't find out the ending first and so the film creates a feeling of tension and keeps the audience in suspense.

The trailer doesn't give much away as to what the film is about it merely gives us an insight into who the characters are and their names also in the trailer are he actors names. As the trailer doesn't give much away it makes the audience intreseted and eager to watch the rest of the film.
